Jieun Lee, who received her PhD from the University of Georgia in 2018, arrived at Emory in Fall 2023 to begin teaching in the Theater department. Previously, she was Assistant Professor in Women and Gender Studies at Wake Forest University.

At Emory, She began teaching courses on Asian American drama and theater and feminism.
