At the invitation of East by Southeast and the Horizon Theatre Company, Professor Chris Suh spoke about the legacy of the Hart-Celler Act (1965) to the Atlanta community. East by Southeast and the Horizon Theatre Company collaborated in their production of the playwright Lloyd Suh’s The Heart Sellers, and Professor Suh (no relations to the playwright) was given the opportunity to share the stage with representatives from Escuelitas and ATL Radical Art.
With Asian American Voices for Education, Professor Suh also led a community event titled “A Seat at the Table: The Immigrant Experience,” also at the Horizon Theatre.
